fine-pitch latch

fine-pitch latch
A latch that restricts the normal fine-pitch angle of the propeller blades to an angle coarser than fully fine. This is to reduce the windmilling drag following an engine failure. It is fitted on certain propellers and can be overridden for takeoff.
